Nia is a therapeutic form of movement which enables those who participate in the class to become consciously aware of their body and to tap into it’s intrinsic wisdom to self heal on many levels.
The rhythmical and repetitive nature of the easy movements allows you to feel at ease with the move so you can then really feel what is going on within your body.
You are invited to work at your own level and pace, thus allowing your body to speak to you as to what is best for you and your body at that particular moment in time.
You are given some basic movements and invited to do what ever you feel inclined to do with your arm movements. By giving your body permission to move in the way it wants to it can freely heal physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Nia is a non judgemental movement class done to unique and interesting music which has been commissioned especially for Nia classes.
I also incorporate some dance moves and a relaxation section at the end.
Come and try a class and see how you feel after it.

Massage is the caring touch of the heart expressed through the hands….
I have been involved with massage for many years and received my Diploma and Certificate qualifications from the Brandon Raynor School of Natural Therapies.
I also work closely with crystals and healing energies.
I have always held a deep passion for dance and teaching dance in my heart from a very early age and never imagined I could feel as passionate about any thing else. However since I completed my training with Brandon Raynor in Tasmania and then Brett Pascoe in Melbourne, I realise that I am as equally passionate about massage and working with healing energy as I am dance.
Massage for young people:
Recently I have had the privilege of giving massage and healing to young people aged 11 and 13 years old. I loved the sessions and was amazed that even young ones carry tension in the same places that adults do. And when you release their tension, they feel as good as the adults do. I truly felt blessed to work with these incredible people. Even my 3 year old grand daughter often asks me for massage and crystal healing’s.

Testimonials of some clients.
Steve Alison’s approach to wellness is all encompassing from her knowledge of dietary matters, to her spiritual guidance and her physical healing processes. It represents much more than the normal massage techniques I have experienced in the past. I am without reservation recommending Alison for all age groups, confident that you will benefit in both mind and body from her dedication and expertise.
Col “Call, book in for a wonderful spiritual healing experience, you deserve it.”
Rencha Alison is a very capable woman. Alison has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages and is trustworthy and dedicated to excellence in whatever she does. Recently a family member passed away in South Africa. This was a time of deep grieving. I felt severely drained on every level after flying to and from Johannesburg and dealing with all that goes with a family member’s death and funeral. Whilst in transit in Perth, I received a massage from Alison which completely re balanced me. My body, emotions and spirit were revitalised and I felt I received strength and clarity to be able to refocus and continue to move forward and face life. Her gentle touch and caring manner were incredibly therapeutic. I boarded the next plane feeling great.
Cynthia As a beauty therapist I make people feel good and also I don’t forget about myself. I treat myself probably once a month, most of the time I get a massage. I’ve been to physio, massage therapists, I like the Chinese massage too. None of them made me feel like Alison did. She gives the most beautiful massage, it’s an experience. And after it, I feel totally relaxed but recharged in my body and mind. From now I will only to to see Alison because once I find the best I stick with it.
Carol I am highly recommending Alison Marshall for her therapeutic massage services. I was feeling unwell, emotional and tired due to illness in the family which had extended over a period of more than 12 months. At the conclusion of a one and a half hour session, I not only found the massage to be extremely beneficial physically, but my body was taken beyond the physical into what I believe to be a spiritual place. I was totally relaxed at the conclusion of the massage, my body could have floated away, I no longer carried any burdens and at that point I had what I believe to be a miraculous experience. Everything was so still and yet I felt my pulse pounding, one strong pound after the other, travelling throughout my body, I was in awe of what was taking place, and remained motionless being totally consumed in the experience firmly believing that the spiritual was within. No other massage therapists have taken me beyond the physical to the miraculous place that Alison had guided me to. I firmly believe Alison has a wonderful gift and amazing healing ability through her spiritual and caring nature, to be of great benefit to those individuals seeking therapeutic massage at both the physical and spiritual level.
Lorraine I wish to recommend Alison to persons seeking her services as a masseuse. She has been given a ‘gift’ in her hands to be able to sense the need of the body and then work to relieve tensions and pressures in it, thereby bringing it back into balance and harmony. This is written form my own experience of her caring for other’s needs. The whole experience is soothing with gentle relaxation music in the background and fragrant aroma therapy in the air. Thank you Alison Yours in gratitude.

Where there is honest effort, it will be realized that what appeared to be different truths are like the countless and apparently different leaves of the same tree.” Mahatma Gandhi
